Signum was a Latin word meaning "sign." The name referred to the trace left by Roman chariots along their routes, a symbol that inspired the Guidolin brothers. For them, “Signum” perfectly captured the essence they wished to convey through their products: the enduring journey of writing, from antiquity to the present, and into the future. The passion and dedication of each member of the Guidolin family were key to the success of their creations.

Every day, the family collaborated at every stage of production—from design to assembly—striving to create pens of exceptional quality. This collaborative spirit was characteristic of artisan family businesses. Signum offered a comprehensive range of writing instruments, including fountain pens, rollerball pens, ballpoint pens, and pencils.

Launched in 2011 and crafted in Italy, Signum pens are no longer being manufactured. 

This fountain pen is filled via cartridge or converter and mounted with an 18K Medium grade nib.
